FC Porto Colombia Soccer School

The first FC Porto Soccer School outside of Portugal is born thanks to the agreement between Gimnasio del Norte’s General Manager, Ricardo Pérez Arciniegas, and FC Porto’s President, Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa.

This iniciative proposes the idea of bringing the knowledge, technique and strategies of the european soccer to Colombia to make the best soccer players of the world.

Daycare nurseries

Gimnasio del Norte has agreements with more than 50 kindergartens and preschools in Bogotá.  These institutions have an excellent record and are highly recognized in the city. School parents of the kids enrolled in these places can access economic benefits in the first tuition fees and have priority placement, alongside other benefits.

Our students can enroll directly and validate classes in universities as Los Andes, La Sabana, Externado, among others. The Gimnasio del Norte School has an agreement with the Ministry of Defence, through which the public workers obtain a 50% discount in the first tuition (except those of international programs, field trips, resources and students’ insurance). Furthermore, they have a 20% discount in the monthly fee of the first child.

For our School it is essential to keep strengthening our agreements to offer quality education to the public and private workforce of the country.

Bancolombia

Escuela Nacional de cine (National Film School)

Gimnasio del Norte is related to “Escuela Nacional de Cine” (National Film School), through which subscribed students, graduates and teachers can access discounts in academic programs, workshops and diplomas carried at the school. In the same way, students that take Film will have the opportunity of being visited by experts in cinematographic art, attending lectures and taking specific courses in the ENACC.

Gimnasio del Norte is a member of the board of directors and founders at “Festival Intercolegiado de Cine” (Inter-institutional Film Festival), along with Escuela Nacional de Cine and Topofilia, a scenario designed to promote creativity, new talents and the education of new audiences. This festival encourages students’ talents through the screening of short films produced by young artists in school age, formative workshops, spaces for dialogue and an academic approach to the Colombian film industry.
